Hardback. First edition. Biography of the playwright, novelist and creator of Peter Pan, written by his secretary Lady Cynthia Asquith (daughter-in-law of H. H. Asquith the former British Prime Minister). Letter from Cynthia Asquith to the original owner of book is enclosed - on headed notepaper with full signature. The original owner then bequeathed the book to a library, there are stamps in both the front and back and the original owner’s dated name to the front endpaper. Black and white frontis. and six further plates.
